Juried exhibition takes over Carnegie Gallery

The Carnegie Gallery features the Biennial Potters Guild of Hamilton and Region Juried Exhibition, April 4-27 with an opening reception scheduled for April 4 from 7-9:30 p.m.

Area potters such as Scott Barnim, Carol Rossman and Barbara Sachs will be juried this year by ceramic artists Steven Heinemann and Kasumi Lampitoc, both highly recognized for their work.

The potters' works will be recognized by individual prizes awarded by the judges and presented on opening reception night. There is over $2,500 in awards.

The intention of this exhibition is to celebrate the excellence and diversity of works produced by the potters guild.
