The Saints of Ancaster return to present their fourth annual Tastes of Ancaster event. This year the event will be held on Thursday, June 12, 6-10 p.m., at Marquis Gardens, 1365 Sandhill Dr. in Ancaster.
Tickets are $40 per person and available for sale at Rastin's Guardian Pharmacy, Wilson Street and Sulphur Springs Road, and M&M Meat Shops, Wilson Street near Fiddler's Green. Payment may be by cheque or cash.
Those attending the event will be treated to culinary delights from local restaurants and an exceptional selection of wines and brews.
A five piece combo from the Hamilton All-Star Jazz Band ensemble and the Ron Palangio Trio will alternate in topping off the festive mood with the smooth sounds of jazz and popular music favourites throughout the evening.
The Tastes of Ancaster is a joint venture between St. Ann's Knights of Columbus and St. John's Anglican Church, both located in Ancaster, and is also a part of the Ancaster Heritage festivities. The co-chairs, Henry Vens (St. John's) and Scott Rastin (St. Ann's Knights of Columbus), are pleased that the event has become a popular and important annual fundraising community event.
Proceeds from Tastes of Ancaster will benefit the churches, local community service organizations and charities.
