The Ancaster Horticultural Society held its annual Plant and Garden Artifact Sale last month at the Ancaster Town Plaza. Me & My World
Youth ages of 13 to 20 displayed their art work under the theme Me & My World, June 1 at Bay Front Park. The youth group, under the umbrella of the Polish Canadian Women's Federation, hosted the exhibit. The seed funding came partially from the Hamilton Community Foundation; the rest was provided through community support, fundraising and volunteers. The event was led by Kasia Niton, who also exhibited her art work.

Pint-sized fundraisers
Sara Canposarcone, Ally Piconi, Morganne McPhee, Brenna McPhee and Alexis Gordon raised $500 for the Telus Walk to Cure Diabetes by selling hotdogs and refreshments at Sobey's in Ancaster last month. Morganne, who spearheaded the event, thanks the manager and staff at Sobey's for their assistance. The Telus Walk to Cure Diabetes takes place at Bayfront Park on June 8 at 9:30 a.m.
