Quilts in Bloom
The Hamilton Quilters Guild recently held its ever-popular quilt show, Quilts in Bloom, at Marritt Hall, Ancaster. The guild celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. One of the quilts being showcased is the 15-by-13-foot, 125th anniversary quilt made in 1982 and featuring quilt blocks from across Canada. Mayor Fred Eisenberger was on hand to present a certificate to the guild for its community efforts.
