Soupfest is coming

Cutting loose
After months of preparation, Parkside High School’s musical theatre class ‘cut loose’ with their take on the musical production Footloose. A team of 65 students came together to stage the productionn not only in the areas of singing, acting, and dancing, but also in backstage set construction, sound, lighting and production.

Royals win water polo championships
Brandon Lake of the Ancaster Royals has the Westmount goalie dead to rights during the city high school water polo final. He scored on the play, helping his team to a 6-2 win for the gold medal. On the junior side, the Royals also won gold, beating Westdale 4-2 in the final.
