Senior of the year deadline looming

There's just one week left to nominate someone for the Hamilton Municipal Senior of the Year award. The award is given annually to a local senior (living within the boundaries of the City of Hamilton) who has made an outstanding voluntary contribution to enrich the social, cultural or civic life of our community.

Pick up your nomination form at any senior facility, recreation centre, arena or at the city's community service department located at 77 James Street North, suite 400.

Completed nomination forms should be dropped of at or mailed to the Sackville Hill Seniors Recreation Centre, 780 Upper Wentworth St., L9A 4V5 no later than Friday, March 28, 2008.
