
Frugal, cheap or just plain smart? Learn how to shop strategically during two upcoming sessions -- April 15, 7 p.m., at Dalewood Recreation Centre, 1150 Main St. W. Hamilton, and April 22, 6:30 p.m. at the Ancaster Library, Murray Ferguson Room, lower level.
Organizer Susan Munzer said the strategy is simply: learn how to buy as much food and products in the least amount of packaging, stopping the purchase of non-essential products and reducing consumption of others.
"I personally stopped buying over 48 different products which I had used for many years," said Ms. Munzer.
"My home is clean and fresh without them. Beauty products are a multi-billion dollar industry. I prove that a woman can be well groomed from head to toe, spending very little money."
