One of Hamilton's oldest insurance brokerage firms has a new owner. Stoney Creek mountain resident George McCarter officially took ownership of Pearson Dunn Insurance in mid-May. Mr. McCarter, who has served as company president since Feb. 2006, takes the reins from Ancaster residents Bruce and Jamie Pearson, following their recent retirement. With 25 years experience as a broker, Mr. McCarter looks forward to his enhanced role with Pearson Dunn.
"We have a firm built on good strong values," Mr. McCarter said. Those values include putting clients first and employees a close second, he said.
Pearson Dunn has grown to become one of the area's largest independently owned insurance brokerage firms.
