The DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University launched the Synergy Business Program in 2007 as a summer experience for high school youth. Over 130 students attended the weekly program last year. After this tremendous success, Synergy is now back for year two.
Synergy introduces young minds to the world of commerce by bridging the gap between knowledge taught in the classroom and hands-on learning. Students are immersed in a variety of experiential workshops and case competitions that help develop business savvy and important life skills.
"I personally think that a week at Synergy can be an eye opening experience and I am extremely excited to share this opportunity with our students," said Kelly Lambert, program coordinator for Synergy 2008 and a senior undergraduate student at DeGroote.
Synergy runs one-week sessions throughout July and August.
Registration has begun and is limited. For more information visit http://synergy.degroote.mcmaster.ca.
