The Hamilton Amateur Astronomers will hold a public astronomy night in Burlington July 12, 8-11 p.m. at the Burloak Waterfront Park, 5420 Lakeshore Rd.
Residents are invited to join amateur astronomers to look through telescopes at the moon, stars and planets, see many different types of telescopes, ask questions about astronomy and learn how to get started in this hobby.
The event is free and subject to weather. For more information, directions and updates, visit www.amateurastronomy.org.
