
Former Ancaster resident returning to her roots

Elyse Simpson, a 17-year-old singer/songwriter and former resident of Ancaster will perform Nov. 13 at the The Hub Restaurant and Lounge, 109 Emerson St., Hamilton, 7-10 p. m. Elyse performs regularly in Oakville and Toronto but this is the first time in Hamilton .
“I was born at McMaster Hospital and I grew up in and around Hamilton,” said Elyse, “so it feels very comfortable to come back to Hamilton to play. It's a great opportunity to connect with a different type of audience.”
