BMO Bank of Montreal has opened the doors to a new $1.5-million branch -- its first retail branch location in Ancaster. The branch is located at 737 Golf Links Rd. in the Meadowlands Power Centre.

"This is the seventh branch BMO has opened in the last few weeks," said Susan Brown, senior vice-president, Ontario Regional Division, BMO Bank of Montreal.

"This investment is proof of BMO's confidence in the future growth of Ancaster, our commitment to the city of Hamilton and our desire to deepen business relationships in the community."

BMO will hold an official grand opening celebration on Saturday, Nov. 24.
