Fieldcote Museum's new exhibit, Ancaster Eclectica, is now on display until Sept. 21.
The exhibit features the work of former police officer and current Ancaster High School art teacher Roz. Niewland. It includes Ms. Niewland's own paintings, sketches and pottery, plus the work of other artists, friends and family who have touched her life in some way.
Her exhibit includes about 30 coloured sketches of retired Ancaster High School teachers.
A second exhibition room features the work of her colleagues from the Hamilton Calligraphy Guild and a series of 24-karat gold vellum miniatures. Fieldcote Museum is located at 64 Sulphur Springs Road. Call 905-648-8144 for more information. The museum is open Wednesday to Saturday, 1-5 p.m
