Mountain Athletic Club Volleyball Girls Under 13U MAC-MVP and Under 14 MAC-MVP teams shone at their first Ontario Volleyball Association Provincial Cup Zone C Tournament. At the Under 13 Provincial Cup, the Under 13 girls finished second overall and the Under 14 girls finished sixth overall.

The Under 13 team finished first in their pool, defeating the Barrie Elites Black 25-20, 25-16; Toronto West 18-25, 25-20, 18-16; NBYVC 25-23, 25-19 and the Collingwood Cubs 25-11, 25-20.

Both teams are coached by Jos Nederveen of Dundas, Ludmil Hamanov of Mississauga and Siobhan Mondesire of Ancaster.

The Under 13 athletes include Bianca Brown, Monica CarnicelliandReganRussellfromSt. Ann's in Ancaster and Nicole Gwiazdowicz from St. Bernadette in Dundas.

Finished third

The Under 14 girls finished third in their pool, losing to the Niagara Rapids 19-25, 7-25; Toronto West 2-25, 26-26, 11-15 and defeating both the Halton Hurricanes Blue 25-19;16-25, 15-11 and the Waterloo Tigers Black 25-19, 25-16.

The team includes Dundas athlete Leah Sharp from Sir Willliam Osler in Dundas.
