The Ancaster Little League Rookie Ball playoffs ended last month, with the season ranked fifth-place Athletics taking the championship in true Ancaster sportsmanship style.
With only one loss in the finals, the geared up Athletics found themselves up against the season's best Blue Jays.
After a hard fought battle, the Athletics emerged victorious 2-0 in the three-game championship series.
Congratulations to all players and coaching staff who worked hard all year on developing the fundamentals of baseball through encouragement and fair-play.
